one of those conversations
me: I'm very full... I can't eat anymore. em: Don't eat. It's ok. (starts taking serviette to 'dabao' the KFC chicken)me: Don't! em: What do you mean, "Don't"?me: Don't bring it home. Just leave it.em: *look of shock* I can't leave the chicken behind!me: -_-"""me: You still have the chicken to finish (the very same one from above) later. em: No, I don't want. me: Then, throw away. I'm not going to eat it. em: You can't throw it away. It's a good chicken. me: -_-""""me: What do you mean by it's a good chicken (still, the very same one)?em: It has a good heart. me: How do you know?em: Because when we eat it, the heart is no longer with it. The heart has gone to heaven. me: -_-""""" em: That (referring to the above conversations) is what would happen when you switch off my lights (alluding to Earth Hour).me: Then, I think I will switch off your lights every weekend. At least, you're funnier and not regular. (Finally, our conversation stopped revolving around the chicken.)me: If you are married and with kids, you just don't go to the movies anymore. Movies will become a thing of the past. At most, they would just watch DVDs or cable TV at home.em: So, will I be like that too?me: Yes, definitely, unless you marry me. You are such a regular, you will become a regular-sized couch potato. No fancy flavourings. Just regular.

one of those conversations...
me: Not so much (of the charred rice of his claypot rice)! It's cancerous, you know. You really want me to die young? em: Siao! You think I can live without you meh? me: ... (touched by this seemingly casual, random remark)me: Ya, of course you can. You have been living without me for... 25 years of your life.em: But not anymore. Hmm... sometimes, Emman does amaze me with unexpected reading from the correct script.

Ex-upon a time
Today, I did marketing for my tuition service outside PL. Well, not 'I'. Rather, Janet and Emman helped me with it. I was just observing the 'distribution' from the canteen opposite. It was kinda fun, for me, at least. But, really, THANK YOU JANET & DARDEE! ^^xxxSnapshots...... of us complaining but still donning the PL dark blue polo-tee that was thicker (hence, warmer) than the white one.... of us killing time to the training by gossiping, snacking, doing silly things and sometimes, marking and lesson-planning.... of us sitting around the school hall, amusing ourselves as quietly as possible, so that the trainers didn't bore us to sleep.... of adorable slideshows painstakingly put together by Victor, which reminded us the real value of our work.... of us trying to hide away in an attempt to evade questions from the parents, leaving the form teachers in the lurch.... of us snacking away on the food that the parents so kindly bought (while still trying to hide away).... of super-efficient us stacking the chairs and clearing up the school hall after the session.... of us calling out 'Goodbye's to one another as we car-pool our way home. Those were ex-upon a time. I recall them fondly, as I rarely do with other past jobs I had held. Honestly? Sometimes, I think, someday, perhaps... I would go back. But not in the post I once held. Something else. Something equally meaningful, something I know I would enjoy equally, if not more. Someday, perhaps.

Just
Emman is encouraging me to go back to the corporate world, even as a part-timer, so that I can come back with stories of how I bitch about bosses and other office-beings. I'm sure my boyfriend misses me as a colleague. The truth is, indeed, there isn't much of pupils to bitch about. But, why build our entertainment on the misery of others? It's bad karma. xxxJoined California Fitness Gym 2 weeks ago. Concluded that some people are born to be dancers, some are just not. I'm the latter. Doesn't matter. Pedaling away on the cycle equipment while reading is good too. The rowing equipment is not too difficult too. Then, there's always the BodyBalance, yoga+pilates class. With some consistency, I might be a 'Bodylicious' too. Otherwise, I heard sweating out at the sauna is also a good way to detox. Beside everything, it's 4 new locations to take a shower when the weather is blazing, and it has been. haha... For the sake of $67 a month.
